SAVING ON THAT SNOW 2018/19 II
You know when you can’t stop punching yourself in the face and crying? That’s us. Like all day - at work, at home, on the street, and in a car. You know why? Cause it’s not winter. Oooof.
Elevated Locals is partnering with Powder Alliance this upcoming season, and we are super stellar stoked on it. If you have a season pass at a Powder Alliance resort you get three mid-week days at all the other Powder Alliance mountains. Last Saving on That Snow post we let you know about eight of the Powder Alliance resorts. This post we give you another nine.
MOUNTAIN HIGH - CA
RN - We are talking right now a season pass is $299, the Powder Alliance Add-On is $99 - so that’s $398….. for a season pass. Yeah dude. This price goes up $100 on 11/1/2018. Lift tickets are $84 (for eight hours) - so after you shred five times you shred for free. Mountain High also has a night four packs for $109. That’s $27.25 a pop. What can you get for $27.25 in LA? A garbage bag.
SIERRA AT TAHOE - CA
Wouldn’t it be funny if everyone called this place SAT? Like, “Where you at?” “SAT!” or “I can’t go to work today, I be at SAT.” or “Eat your vegetables or no SAT!” Okay, we’ll stop. Sorry. Anyway, a season pass is $479 at SAT - that also comes with a free friend pass ery Friday in the late season. Never SAT alone! If you don’t live in the Tahoe area, bring your boarding pass to SAT and ski that day for free.
MT. HOOD SKI BOWL - OR
Do you live in Portland and have a day job? Are you a vampire but still want to snowboard? King of the night skiing, Mt. Hood Ski Bowl is for you! A season pass is $423 until 11/5/2018. Let’s say you only got to the hill 15 times next season because someone tied your feet together and you became a statue - you would still only be paying $28.20 per ticket. Worth it. Also ladies ski Tuesday nights for $25. Night time is the right time.
SCHWEITZER - ID
Do you know logan? He grew up skiing at Schweitzer - so you should probably go to there. A season pass for this land of logan is $799 until Halloween. You get to ride the shuttle for free with your pass. If you can’t buy a season pass because you hate the number seven, you can get a three pack for $195. That’s $65 a ticket with no seven’s involved.
SUGARBOWL - CA
We aren’t allowed to have sugar bowls in our shack because smoking sugar ruins the pipe - duh, but don’t worry - this Sugarbowl is a resort in Tahoe. Phew. It’s $799 for an unrestricted season pass at this secret land. This pass comes with four half-off buddy tickets until 10/31/18. Friends!
SILVER STAR MOUNTAIN - BC
Silver Star is British Columbia’s third largest resort. I have the third largest head in my family, so that makes sense. A season pass at this powder haven is $979 until the end of October. During the peak season a lift ticket at Silver Star is $115, so after you get nine days in you are riding for free my friend.
STEVEN’S PASS - WA
This hill is also called the mecca, god’s garden, and enlightenment. It’s like so good. The season pass situation is a little tricky ‘cause it’s an Epic Pass, but then you get all the things Epic too - so good job! It’s $709, if you get your 100 days in then it’s only 7 dollarz a day. (almost)
WHITE WATER SKI RESORT - BC
We think in this situation, the white water is snow - which is what we want! Tricky - tricky. A White Water season pass right now is $1,088. Aren’t eights great? A day pass is $89 so after 13 times at the White Water you will be skiing for free.
TIMBERLINE - OR
This is where you go to stop the sobbing for a summer shred, but did you know this resort is open during the winter too? It is! Redrum. $499 gets you a season pass until 11/5/18. Uh, so I’m just going to run to there right now.
K - bye!
