Boreal Reopens for Sat. July 23rd. It's $25 for park laps from 9AM-2PM. Tahoe was and is the place to be this year.

Get some more park laps in at Timberline. I think tickets are $36, but then I think a lot of things.

THE ATLANTIC OCEAN- FISHING

So going out on your own boat, a friend's boat, or an enemy's boat is always big fun- but charter fishing is also pretty sweet. A good captain and crew will know where the fish are. The crew will help with any sort problem you might have (fishing related- they will not help you with your hoarding problem). This is clutch when you go out for bluefish, because those suckers just bite hooks right off.  We have been out on a bunch of charter boats from Sheepside Bay (Brooklyn, baby), we like The Brooklyn VI. The six hour trips are better; you go out further in the ocean. We went out last Fri. for the full moon from 7PM-3AM. There were five of us- we caught 15 big boy bluefish. It's $20 an hour plus $5 for the pool. They crew will clean your fish for $3 per fish- which is lovely if you have tons of fish.
